Wine and Canapé Tasting Events

Our wine and canapé tasting events are both educational and fun, and, for the discerning host, a great alternative to the usual corporate or private entertainment.

At a venue of your choice, and in partnership with our Wine Educator (who also happens to be an ex-Michelin food inspector), we create a relaxed, informal environment in which everyone will have fun and at the same time learn something new, regardless of their knowledge of wine.

Typically, these events last a couple of hours. On arrival, guests are greeted with a glass of something suitable and a tasting sheet, which provides details of the "wine flight" and the accompanying canapés they're about to experience. Once your guests have settled in the wines are presented one by one, with appropriate canapés, and guests are gently guided through the event by our wine expert.

2007 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Gran Sasso, Marches, Italy - matched with roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and horseradish

Perfumes of black cherries and red currants on the nose, with hints of smoke and a little oak. On the palate the juicy, cherryish fruit is to the fore lifting the flavour of the roast beef, with ripe, soft tannins and concentrated fruit adding definition and standing up to the horseradish. All allied to a clean, succulent finish.
